Black is a symbolic color that is unique and depicts power. It’s a rare color with hidden charm. Never feel inferior for having dark skin.

While growing up, I read and saw many stories of how inferior a black woman is. Her place is only in the kitchen. She was made to break her back for her family.

There was this particular picture that was printed on a calendar many years back. It described a black woman with many hands, that is needed to groom a family.

When I was about to get married, my family made so many emphases on the reasons why I should pray, believe, and work towards becoming a good wife to my spouse.

Strangely, the modern black woman sees the former as a slave and sees herself as inferior. She works extra to become independent.

Let me remind you of the power of the black race. The black race understands hierarchy and knows what it means to serve. They know the meaning of true leadership and administration, especially in the home.

A black woman is a strong leader who understands that a leader is not actually the one with the much control but the one who knows the weakness and strength of the one who assert authority. A black woman is a king maker.

Obedience and submission are what make her gain her respect. I was oblivious to this fact and didn’t understand why I was born a woman.

I felt it was a waste of time to be born, and live all my life being groomed to become submitted to another Man authority. But, getting older I realize that a man is not a crown but aids the woman is wearing the crown of motherhood and womanhood. It gives her the leverage to coordinate the home.

Back to a modern black woman. A modern black woman has evolved. She still has the same fearless demeanor, the only difference is that she lends her voice to society unaided by a man rather than how the ancient black woman thinks.

A modern black woman fends for herself and has discovered ways to better herself. She has potential that is beyond the kitchen and society.

What a modern black woman or the ancient black woman never knew is that there are no limitations or boundaries even with colored skin. A black woman is a warrior and guide to a home.

A black woman uses submission and obedience to keep and make a home. A black woman has no limitations in the world except she chooses not to fight.

You’re not inferior to the home because you’re the bringer of life. You’re not inferior to society because your brain works more if you put it to use. You’re not a baby-making factory, you’re the birther of life.

You have a purpose and without you, there will be no procreation. You are not handicapped you are capable. You can influence a change in society. You groom strong men and raise a nation.

You hold much power to build or destroy a city. Never allow anyone to limit your power by telling, you without purpose.

You can take up any battle and emerge victorious cause you are strong enough to withstand any heat.

Blacks don’t crack and you’re indeed the core centre of it. Without you things will fall apart.

Dominate and take charge of your life. Make the home bloom with your aura. Let your charm be felt and your smile should light up the world.

This is for all black women who feel low or inferior. Wear your crown cause you’re more relevant than you think and more purposeful than you envision.

Learn to find yourself and believe in who you are. Cause without you the center cannot hold.

If this has resonated with you in any way and helped you see the much power you have as a black woman, do well to leave 50 claps and more. Send in your comment cause I would like to know how you feel about this. Do well to invite your friends to follow me for more.
