The idea of royalty comes from the purple. As a girl people expected me to love pink. That's still a great colour but I'm not a Barbie princess, I'm a real queen.

Even though I'm very girly, when it comes to picking colours I would always choose purple. There are a lot of reasons why I love purple; that's because it has this charm. It's a very attractive colour when you look so closely at it.

A very mysterious beauty that you don't see until you get close to it. Purple has always spoken about my personality as a person. It's bright magic that you get to see when you come close to it.

Purple is not a primary colour, it was formed from the combination of two primary colours, blue and red. Blue signifies serenity, stability, inspiration and wisdom while red signifies sacrifice, danger and courage.

The significance of these two colours is the exact attributes of leadership and royalty. Every royalty must possess the attribute of what red and blue signify. And, purple signifies that royalty.

My love for purple came from my position as the first child in my family and because I have always seen and adored myself as a queen.

Purple is magical. It speaks of luxury, prestige and trust. A brand that uses purple in its brand signifies thoughtfulness and honour.

You just fall in love with purple when you get close to it. The colour commands are very rare and there is so much aura. Even in flowers like the hibiscus, purple hibiscus are rare species.

Gotten from Pinterest.

The hibiscus flower often comes in red, pink, and blue but purple is its rare kind. Even the purple hibiscus speaks of freedom and individuality no wonder, Chimanda has to name her book: "The Purple Hibiscus", to help us see what the whole story signifies.

Purple connotes lots of meaning. It symbolizes vision, power, trust and authority. It's not just royalty for nothing. It connotes all the characteristics of leadership and royalty.

I fell in love with this colour from my junior secondary school. When we think about primary colours and secondary colours we were asked to find out what each of these colours signified. I did my research and when I read about purple I fell in love with its symbol and exactly what it connotes.

I began to love purple more because it symbolizes my exact personality. So I could say I'm purple. I rule, I dominate and I trust. I'm a visionary being and a very elegant person.

I did not choose purple just because of its beautiful shade. It is my favourite colour but, I chose it cause it stands for my present, my lessons and my future.

This colour connotes life's hideous mystery. Purple stands for mystery. It sends this affirmation of trust and how beautiful it can get when you look deep.

Even in enchantment and magic, there is always a purple powder. Its charm is blasting and full of ecstasy. Purple is a color that stands out and that is why I love purple.

May you find the reason why you love a color but here is mine and what it signifies to my life. Purple is me and I love purple.
